At present, the global sensor market is dominated by several leading companies in the United States, Japan and Germany. There are about 22000 kinds of sensors in the world. China already has about 7000 kinds of conventional types and varieties, while more than 90% of high-end sensors still rely heavily on imports, and there is a serious lack of digital, intelligent and miniaturized sensors.

At present, the main technical research direction of sensors in China is MEMS (micro mechanical electronic system), which integrates microprocessor and sensors into an intelligent data terminal device with the functions of environmental perception, data processing, intelligent control and data communication. In microelectronics, it is said that the smaller the characteristic size of the integrated circuit means the higher the integration of the device, the faster the operation speed and the better the performance. The smaller the size of the sensor in the Internet of things system also means more convenient and better performance for the layout of the system. But at the same time, the requirements for hardware are higher. The core is sensor chips. At present, there are few large-scale sensor manufacturers in China, mainly small and medium-sized manufacturers, and the chip materials are mainly FR-4 substrate and aluminum substrate. However, in developed countries, aluminum nitride ceramic substrate has been widely used, and aluminum nitride ceramic substrate has better stability, Better insulation and ultra-high thermal conductivity have become the Pearl of the world-class sensor manufacturers.

There is still a certain gap between domestic sensors and foreign technologies, but we can't just look at technology. We have to upgrade the hardware at the same time. After all, hardware is the foundation. At present, the domestic aluminum nitride ceramic substrate is also developing very rapidly. The main technologies include thin film technology, thick film technology, screen printing technology and DPC Technology (direct copper coating technology), so as to realize the short, small, light and thin equipment. It is the best choice to promote MEMS in China.

At present, because the domestic Internet of things is still in the initial stage, there is no effective communication between many hardware and terminal manufacturers, many manufacturers can't guide things out, and terminal manufacturers don't know effective information. Given China's vast territory and abundant resources, manufacturers can no longer stick to the rules. They must go out, introduce and apply more high-end hardware to drive the technological innovation of the whole industrial chain.
